About the Role

This role focuses on building and managing relationships with content creators to enhance Canon's presence across Europe, driving brand preference and commercial impact through creator influence.

Responsibilities

  • Build and grow Canon’s creator community by identifying and developing relationships with creators, influencers, and digital storytellers.
  • Oversee creator collaborations, product gifting, and kit loans to embed Canon within creator content.
  • Shape creator-first social content, commissioning UGC for TikTok, and building a central asset bank.
  • Identify emerging social trends and conversations to create timely, reactive content.
  • Develop social commerce opportunities and demonstrate ROI from creator partnerships.
  • Lead influencer agency and creator tools, managing performance, scope, and budget.
  • Partner with internal teams (Social, Brand, Marketing, Legal, etc.) and local Canon teams to activate creator partnerships.
  • Manage budgets, governance, and performance for creator activity, ensuring commercial effectiveness and compliance.
  • Report on performance and optimize based on trends, audience behavior, and campaign results.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in influencer, creator, or social media marketing within a brand or agency.
  • Proven track record of developing and delivering successful creator partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of social platforms, content formats, algorithms, and audience behavior.
  • Ability to identify trends and translate them into engaging content.
  • Experience creating, commissioning, and editing social content.
  • Excellent written, editorial, and communication skills.
  • Experience managing influencer campaigns, paid social, and content usage rights.
  • Understanding of licensing, IP, brand safety, and compliance.
  • Proven ability to manage agencies, campaign budgets, and multiple projects.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple teams, markets, and external partners.
  • Good understanding of social commerce, affiliate, and performance-based creator marketing.
  • Familiarity with broader content marketing and SEO principles.
  • Proficient with social media, content, and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics).
