About the Role
As our Growth Marketer, you will partner with Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Creative, Web, Data, and Revenue Operations to build Dovetail’s acquisition and lifecycle growth engine. You’ll own paid acquisition and email end to end, from channel strategy and budget allocation through to audiences, creative, landing pages, lifecycle journeys, tracking, and pipeline performance. You’ll start with high-intent search, account-targeted paid social, retargeting, and the email programs that turn interest into action, then open new channels when the evidence supports it. This is a senior individual contributor role for a builder. You’ll set direction, work directly inside the platforms, and turn what works into a repeatable system.
Responsibilities
- Own paid acquisition. Set the channel strategy, budget, targets, forecast, and testing roadmap across Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, retargeting, and selected emerging channels.
- Run campaigns hands-on. Build and optimize campaign structures, bids, audiences, exclusions, copy, creative variants, and conversion paths.
- Own email and lifecycle marketing. Build the journeys that move prospects from first signal to qualified opportunity, including nurture, behavioral triggers, campaign follow-up, re-engagement, and database activation.
- Turn performance into better creative. Partner with Creative and Product Marketing to build a fast learning loop across message, format, audience, and offer.
- Improve the post-click journey. Partner with Web to ship landing pages, forms, and conversion experiments that match the intent behind each campaign.
- Build a high-velocity testing practice. Set clear hypotheses and decision rules before launch. Test channels, queries, audiences, creative, offers, landing pages, email journeys, and bid strategies.
- Connect spend to pipeline. Partner with Revenue Operations and Data to build trustworthy tracking, attribution, dashboards, and feedback loops.
- Build an AI-powered growth system. Design and operate the workflows, prompts, agents, and tooling that improve campaign production, lifecycle orchestration, monitoring, analysis, creative iteration, and reporting.
Requirements
- Paid acquisition depth. Experience in growth or performance marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS, with direct operating experience across Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads.
- Email and lifecycle depth. Experience building segmented B2B journeys across nurture, campaign follow-up, re-engagement, and behavioral triggers.
- Commercial ownership. A track record of managing meaningful budgets and improving qualified pipeline, customer acquisition cost, or revenue.
- AI fluency as craft. Hands-on with modern AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT, with examples of workflows, agents, and prompts you have improved over time.
- A systems and tooling builder. Comfortable owning the paid and lifecycle stack end to end, including campaign taxonomy, conversion events, pixels, conversion APIs, audience sync, email automation, and source-of-truth reporting.
- Strong analytical judgment. You can interrogate funnel data, separate signal from noise, and turn a performance readout into a clear decision.
- Creative taste. You can judge the message, hook, visual, offer, and landing-page experience, then give clear direction on what needs to change.
- Hands-on in the weeds. You audit the account, build the audience, write the ad, inspect the tracking, review the landing page, pull the data, and ship the next test.
- A strong cross-functional collaborator across Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Creative, Web, Revenue Operations, Data, Sales, and Engineering.
- Bias to action. You would rather launch a disciplined test, learn from real behavior, and improve the system than wait for perfect information.
- Experience with Google Analytics, Segment, HubSpot, Salesforce, SQL, or a product analytics platform is useful.

About the Company
- Dovetail is the Customer Intelligence Platform for the entire organization. We unify fragmented feedback from every touchpoint, including sales calls, support tickets, and research, into a single AI-powered intelligence layer that empowers every team to build, sell, and serve with confidence.
- Founded in 2017, we are a team of 100+ across our offices in Sydney and San Francisco, working with thousands of teams from Fortune 500 companies to the world’s most innovative startups.
- The best never guess. We help teams turn the noise of thousands of customer interactions into the signal required to move faster, prioritize better, and drive revenue.
Equal Opportunity
- At Dovetail, we're building a place where every team member feels supported and valued. We celebrate individualism and want you to show up as your authentic self every day. It’s no secret that diversity builds the best teams, large or small, so we highly encourage applications from people who identify as part of an underrepresented group.
- On AI: We expect candidates to already be embedding AI into their day-to-day work. We look for people who are thoughtful and pragmatic in how they use AI—knowing when to leverage it, how to direct it effectively, and how to apply it to improve the quality, speed, and impact of their work.
