About the Role

This role involves supporting colleagues in understanding and meeting information handling and data protection obligations, fostering a strong culture of compliance. You will ensure an effective framework for Information Management (IM) and advise on UK GDPR obligations, reporting on compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Support colleagues to understand and meet their obligations in relation to information handling and data protection.
  • Work collaboratively to ensure a strong culture of compliance in information handling and data protection.
  • Ensure the DA has an effective, streamlined, and scalable framework for IM.
  • Inform and advise on DA obligations under the UK GDPR.
  • Report on compliance with UK GDPR.
  • Manage a small team.
  • Enhance the support provided to the Programme.
  • Communicate and effectively influence at all levels of the organisation to embed a strong organisational culture of IM and GDPR compliance.
  • Provide training and raise awareness on IM and GDPR compliance.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate and effectively influence at all levels of the organisation.
  • Must pass security vetting to a minimum Counter Terrorist Check (CTC) level.
  • Residency requirements for vetting may apply (resided outside the UK for more than two of the last five years may affect eligibility).
