About the Role
We are now hiring professional PM & Brunch Server Assistants to join a restaurant built on craft, hospitality, and excellence. This highly anticipated concept will feature culinary leadership by Daniel Ontiveros, mixology by Francesco Lafranconi, and a premium, immersive design by Rockwell Group led by David Rockwell.
Responsibilities
- Set and clear tables, place and replace silverware, and keep beverage glasses full.
- Adhere to sanitation and safety policies.
- Clean machines and appliances, such as coffee & tea makers, glass washers and bread warmers.
- Maintain the general cleanliness and orderliness of the coffee and bread station during service.
- Set up bread trays and butter dishes for service, and prepare coffee and tea beverages to order.
- Perform side-work and other opening/closing procedures as directed by management.
- Sort soiled China, glasses, and silverware, polish glasses/silverware, and restock server stations.
- Maintain general cleanliness and stock paper supply in guest restrooms during service.
- Empty trash receptacles, sweep floors, restock all supplies in the dining room, and ensure dining areas and service stations are clean and organized.
- Anticipate and accommodate guest needs while providing professional and exceptional service.
- Communicate guest needs to Front-of-House and Back-of-House support staff, servers, managers, and chefs.
- Protect establishment, guests, and employees by adhering to Department of Health and Company sanitation standards.
- Report all breakage and damage of equipment or furniture immediately to management.
- Attend and participate in daily pre-service meetings.
- Update knowledge by participating in staff training opportunities.
- Maintain professional appearance standards as directed in the Employee Handbook.
Requirements
- Previous busser/hospitality experience in a high-volume restaurant/lounge.
- Must be able to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motion.
- Exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials may occur.
- Must be able to work and remain focused in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
