About the Role

As Pulse’s first dedicated Growth and Marketing hire, you will own how Pulse explains its work to the world. This is a technical writing and communication role focused on translating engineering achievements into clear content for technical audiences across various platforms. The ideal candidate writes exceptionally well, is curious about document AI systems, and wants to build a marketing function from the ground up.

Responsibilities

Write and edit technical content, including blog posts, benchmark releases, release notes, and customer stories.
Manage Pulse’s LinkedIn and X presence, maintaining a consistent company voice and growing a technical audience.
Own and update core messaging and positioning for priority industries.
Execute end-to-end product launches, including blog posts, landing pages, social media, and email announcements.
Create sales enablement materials such as one-pagers, solution briefs, and evaluation guides based on engineering work and customer results.
Plan and manage Pulse’s presence at industry conferences, executive dinners, and roundtables.
Utilize HubSpot and Webflow for reporting on inbound interest, content engagement, and share of voice.

Requirements

0-4 years of experience in technical writing, content, developer relations, or marketing at a startup or agency.
Exceptional written communication skills for technical audiences, with the ability to explain complex systems clearly and concisely.
Sufficient technical fluency to interview engineers, interpret benchmark data, and engage in technical discussions.
Experience writing for social media or a strong understanding of effective social media strategies for technical audiences on LinkedIn and X.
A bias for action, capable of shipping content like blog posts or landing pages quickly.
Experience writing about developer tools, data infrastructure, or AI products is a plus.
Proven ability to grow an online audience through writing is desirable.
A technical background in computer science, engineering, math, or a quantitative field is preferred.
Experience managing launches, content programs, or events from start to finish is a plus.
