About the Role
The Manager, Work Winning (HSE) is responsible for developing, governing, and delivering high-quality HSE content and insights to support tender and bid processes across CIMIC Operating Companies. The role ensures a consistent and compelling HSE value proposition by translating management system capability, assurance outcomes, and performance insights into clear, client-focused submissions that support successful work winning outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve HSE bid content and supporting materials.
- Define and embed a consistent Group HSE value proposition for tender submissions.
- Establish and manage a central, version-controlled HSE content library.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of HSE inputs across all bids, as well as deadline control processes for bid inputs.
- Translate HSE management system capability, assurance outcomes, and performance insights into compelling, client-focused value propositions.
- Support Operating Company bid teams to deliver high-quality submissions within tight timeframes.
- Identify and deliver improvements to HSE bid content and processes.
- Engage HSE and operational stakeholders to ensure accurate and relevant content.
- Engage with HSE Management Systems, Audit & Assurance, and Reporting to ensure bid content is accurate, current, and aligned to Group standards and performance.
- Build strong relationships with business development and strategy teams.
- Lead and coordinate HSE bid support activities across multiple stakeholders.
- Contribute to a collaborative, high-performance team environment.
- Model CIMIC values and professionalism.
Requirements
- Significant experience in HSE, tendering, or work winning environments.
- Strong understanding of bid processes and commercial drivers.
- Proven ability to develop high-quality, technically robust written content.
- Strong understanding of HSE systems, practices, and value drivers.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing capability.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and quality assurance mindset.
- Structured, responsive, and outcomes-focused approach.
Education Level
- Degree in Work Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering, Business, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
