About the Role

Spencer Stuart's Analyst Interns gain firsthand exposure to identifying, assessing, and developing leaders for influential organizations. Interns work in a fast-paced, intellectually engaging environment supporting leadership advisors and industry experts. The program provides meaningful introduction to leadership advisory and life at Spencer Stuart through project work, training, mentorship, and professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct executive, company, and industry research and analysis.
  • Support active client engagements and business development initiatives.
  • Develop presentations, reports, and other thought leadership materials.
  • Network and interact with colleagues across practices, industries, and functions, including firm leaders and partners.
  • Complete an individual project and a collaborative team project.
  • Present project work and key learnings to office leadership and colleagues.

Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program and entering the final year of study (Spring 2028 graduates or Fall/Winter 2027 graduates).
  • Must have strong academic performance (minimum 3.3 GPA); all majors welcome.
  • Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and engagement through internships, work experience, community service, athletics, research, or student organizations.
  • Strong research, analytical, and synthesis skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-directed, resourceful, team-oriented, and proactive.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Must hold permanent U.S. work authorization (U.S. citizenship or permanent residency).
