About the Role
This permanent full-time leadership position is designed to develop future Care Community General Managers. Working across a variety of care communities, you'll gain exposure to different leadership challenges, teams and operational environments while being supported by experienced Regional GMs, Area Managers and specialist support teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide General Manager leadership across a variety of care communities
- Lead and inspire clinical and non-clinical teams to deliver exceptional resident outcomes
- Drive performance across care quality, compliance, people and financial outcomes
- Build trusted relationships with residents, families, teams and local communities
- Foster a positive, high-performing culture aligned to Opal's C.A.R.E Values
- Support operational excellence through coaching, leadership and continuous improvement
- Gain exposure to different community sizes, challenges and opportunities
Requirements
- Leadership experience within aged care, healthcare, hospitality, community services or another service-led environment
- A passion for leading people and creating high-performing cultures
- Strong commercial and operational capability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Adaptability, resilience and confidence working across different environments
- A visible, hands-on leadership style
- Flexibility and willingness to travel across your designated region
