About the Role
SkyWater is seeking a skilled and reliable Process Technician to support daily production operations in our Probe Card Group in Test25. This role involves hands-on problem-solving, equipment monitoring, process support, and communication across operations, engineering, and maintenance teams, contributing to the manufacturing of U.S. made semiconductors.
Responsibilities
- Address particle and thickness failures on production and qualification wafers.
- Assist operators with issues impacting production flow (test wafers, quals, etc.).
- Provide and receive daily area status updates during shift change.
- Support equipment maintenance in identifying and resolving process-related issues.
- Partner with process engineers on projects and improvement initiatives.
- Analyze inline process data (thickness, particle counts) and define action plans for equipment recovery.
- Run production tools as needed to maintain output targets.
Requirements
- AA degree, technical certificate, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of directly related semiconductor manufacturing experience.
- Ability to interpret, follow, and adhere to company specifications and standard practices.
- Ability to receive and deliver complex written and verbal instructions.
- Strong interpersonal skills including communication, teamwork, leadership, and effective problem-solving.
- Proven reliability, flexibility, and adaptability in a fast-paced production environment.
- Capability to recommend potential spec changes or process improvements to module owners.
