About the Role

We are seeking a highly technical and driven individual to architect and build a world-class finance function, supporting the company's strategic scaling from $10M to $100M+.

Responsibilities

Lead the financial transition from an early-stage startup to a scaled enterprise, managing bookings, backlog, revenue forecasting, and cap table management.
Build and oversee the entire accounting function, including AP/AR, payroll, tax, and audit.
Manage burn, optimize runway, and partner with the CEO on fundraising and investor relations.
Implement AI tools to automate internal finance workflows.
Collaborate with Engineering and Sales to align product milestones with financial targets and go-to-market strategies.

Requirements

Proven track record of scaling a company from the $10M mark through significant growth phases.
Experience in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a 'no task is too small' attitude.
Ability to articulate long-range plans and implement operational building blocks.
Genuine interest in or experience with AI and deep tech.
Understanding of the 'why' behind numbers and ability to build a robust compliance foundation.
Low-ego, high-output collaborator.
10+ years of progressive finance experience.
At least 3+ years in a high-growth startup leadership role.
Deep expertise in core financial metrics & KPIs and hardware/edge-related business models.
Strong proficiency in modern finance stacks (e.g., NetSuite/Rillet, Rippling, Ramp, Mosaic, etc.).
Excellent communication skills, able to distill complex financial data into actionable insights for the Board and team.
US Citizenship may be required for certain project assignments involving security clearance.
