About the Role
COTALAND is seeking a dependable Park Services Night Supervisor to lead the nightly cleaning and park reset operation. This is a working leadership position responsible for assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and actively assisting the crew with cleaning and special projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the Night Park Services Crew during closing operations.
- Assign nightly tasks and ensure work is completed efficiently and to COTALAND standards.
- Actively assist with washing walkways, power washing, restroom deep cleaning, trash removal, and other cleaning projects.
- Ensure equipment, supplies, and chemicals are used safely and properly.
- Inspect completed work and address areas requiring additional attention.
- Communicate operational issues, maintenance needs, and incomplete work to Park Services management.
- Coach and support Crew Members while maintaining a positive, accountable work environment.
- Assist with special projects and extended cleaning assignments as needed.
- Ensure the park is properly cleaned and reset for the following operating day.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Dependable, organized, and able to lead by example.
- Comfortable performing physically demanding cleaning work.
- Ability to operate or learn to operate pressure washers and other cleaning equipment.
- Must be available for evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak operating periods.
- This is a short closing shift, generally ending around 12:00 AM–1:00 AM. Longer shifts may be scheduled for special projects or operational needs.
- Ability to stand, sit, use hands to handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to squat, bend, twist, push/pull.
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
- Work in extreme environments outdoors throughout the year.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud during events.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Park Services, custodial, janitorial, landscaping, or similar experience preferred.
