About the Role
The Coronary Therapies Senior Territory Manager will sell products to help with Cardiovascular Diseases, Coronary Artery Disease, and Acute Myocardial Infarction. This role requires strong sales skills, clinical aptitude, and the ability to build relationships with physicians and staff within the catheterization lab environment.
Responsibilities
- Sells products by scheduling sales calls to meet with current and potential customers to fulfill revenue and unit growth objectives.
- Develops and implements sales strategies by determining relevant factors of existing and potential accounts to effectively promote company products.
- Develops action plans by analyzing sales figures and reports, identifying account needs, and discussing issues with Regional Sales Manager.
- Determines customer needs, goals, product usage, and case types by meeting with physicians and hospital personnel.
- Observes actual procedures in the cardiac catheterization or electro-physiology lab and operating room to gain insight into physician and staff nuances.
- Establishes pricing packages by working with relevant personnel to set price points that meet customer needs and company guidelines.
- Responds to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing solutions or collaborating with other departments.
- Develops relationships with hospital personnel to make new contacts and identify key purchasing decision makers.
- Educates customers on product merits and clinical usage by giving presentations and demonstrations to secure purchasing commitments.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 5 years previous experience in sales.
- Must live within the assigned geographical territory.
- Proven ability to take on a large number of accounts.
- Problem solving and the ability to be coached and directed by other teammates.
- Candidates will be subject to a drug test as a pre-employment requirement.
