About the Role
Oversee the operations and management of multiple retail properties, galvanizing centre performance, minimizing arrears, maximizing property income, and adding value through innovative approaches.
Responsibilities
- Provide superior centre management and deliver six-star client service to foster strong tenant relationships and focus on active tenant retention.
- Deliver best practice in all areas of the business, embracing innovative ways of working to add value to clients' investments.
- Ensure the delivery of property business plan objectives, minimizing arrears, and actively preparing capital and operating expenditure budgets.
- Collaborate with property owners, investors, brokers, and contractors, leveraging JLL's global and local culture of collaboration.
- Ensure properties are exceptionally well-maintained, addressing tenant concerns promptly, and managing lease agreements.
- Oversee all marketing activities and ensure highly effective promotional plans are in place to drive asset performance.
- Ensure full compliance with all workplace health, safety, and environment requirements.
Requirements
- Proven success in shopping centre and retail property management with an in-depth knowledge of the retail sector.
- Excellent client relationship management skills with a strong ability to build trust and find win-win solutions.
- Solid financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, expense monitoring, rent collection, and financial reporting.
- Strong capability to collaborate effectively with various parties, such as property owners, investors, brokers, and contractors.
- A current Real Estate Licence or NSW Certificate of Registration.
- Experience managing a diverse, multi-site retail portfolio (preferred).
- Tertiary qualification in Property, Business, Real Estate, or a related discipline (preferred).
- Advanced negotiation skills and experience managing complex lease expiries (preferred).
