About the Role
U-Haul is seeking skilled technicians to perform preventive maintenance on Ford and GMC trucks, ensuring the fleet remains in top condition. This role offers opportunities for career growth, training, and working with the latest equipment in a family-like atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Secure trucks on lifts and ramps.
- Lubricate suspensions, perform oil changes and replace minor parts.
- Perform tire and brake maintenance.
- Occasionally road-test vehicles.
- Use a proprietary electronic pre-inspection checklist.
- Lend assistance in additional areas as necessary, following supervisor directives.
Requirements
- Basic mechanical aptitude and repair experience preferred.
- Driver's license.
- Ability to work as part of a team and individually.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Basic computer skills.
- Regular attendance.
- Must be legally authorized to work and not require employer sponsorship.
