About the Role
Salesforce is seeking a Director of Product Management to lead the Slackforce Architecture team. This role will own the foundational platform layer powering all Slack and Salesforce integrations, including shared data models, authentication, identity, integrated billing, and a reimagined Slack-first CRM experience.
Responsibilities
- Set the technical product strategy for how Slack and Salesforce systems integrate, delivering incremental wins while building a scalable and sustainable platform.
- Partner closely with engineering and product leads across Slack and Salesforce to align Architecture features with broader strategies.
- Own feature delivery through inception, build, and launch, tracking key customer feedback and metrics.
- Manage automatic authentication and identity mapping for users, enabling seamless data sharing between Slack and Salesforce.
- Oversee automatic tenant provisioning, allowing customers to provision Salesforce instances from Slack teams or vice versa.
- Develop the admin experience for Slackforce features, providing cohesive controls and visibility for Salesforce and Slack Admins.
- Build unified testing capabilities for Admins to ensure trust in AI-first CRM capabilities across Salesforce and Slack.
Requirements
- 7+ years of product management experience, including time in a platform, infrastructure, or architecture role.
- Experience with enterprise data models, integration architecture, and/or identity systems.
- Track record driving technical decisions across engineering teams without direct authority.
- Ability to break down and deliver complex platform capabilities at high velocity.
- Strong collaboration with other product and cross-functional teams.
Skills
- Clear communicator, able to dig into technical implementation and translate tradeoffs into business terms.
- Familiarity with the Salesforce platform (data model, metadata, Apex).
- Familiarity with Slack's platform primitives.

- $197,300 - $313,700 annually
- $237,700 - $344,700 annually in select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area
