About the Role

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Strategic Technology & Capture Sourcing Manager to lead a team shaping sourcing strategies for critical technologies within the Defense Systems sector. This role involves partnering across functions and with suppliers to influence investment and design decisions, aiming to improve speed, producibility, affordability, and capacity.

Responsibilities

Identify supply base gaps and develop solutions.
Develop forecasts and sourcing strategies for critical technologies.
Provide sourcing support for priority captures.
Partner with Engineering and other functions to drive producibility, develop supplier capabilities and capacity, and reduce sourcing risks.
Drive commonality in design features through product lines and building blocks.
Manage strategic partner agreements and associated Executive Committees.
Pursue and manage investments to mature technologies in advance of program awards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, business development, program management, and/or supply chain environments OR Master’s degree with at least 6 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, business development, program management, and/or supply chain environments.
At least 5 years leading teams/people, either directly or indirectly.
Experience in manufacturing and/or engineering processes, defense technologies, and defense programs.
Experience preparing proposals for government acquisitions.
Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance.

Skills

Experience with and a working knowledge of DS product lines and technology building blocks.
Experience working with suppliers on advanced technologies.
Experience in business development and associated customer interactions.
