About the Role
This is a 12-week internship during summer 2027 with the Treasury Operations team within Finance. You will support day-to-day cash management, payment operations, and banking workflows, gaining exposure to how a leading crypto company moves money at scale. You will partner with Product, Engineering, and Compliance teams to ensure financial operations run smoothly for millions of customers.
Responsibilities
- Support daily treasury operations including bank account funding, balance monitoring, and liquidity reporting across Coinbase entities
- Own reconciliation tasks and help maintain accurate fiat safeguarding controls for client funds
- Partner with banking partners and internal teams to triage and resolve payment rail issues
- Build and improve operational dashboards and reporting tools that increase visibility into cash positions and payment flows
- Execute research projects focused on payment rail optimization, new banking relationships, or process improvement opportunities
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline with an expected graduation between December 2026 and June 2027
- Demonstrated interest in payments, banking, corporate treasury, or fintech through coursework, prior internships, or personal projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets with the ability to build and maintain operational models and trackers
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings to cross-functional stakeholders
- Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality
