About the Role

This role involves owning the technical win in deals, designing and delivering AI/GenAI solutions, and collaborating with sales and partners to unlock the value of data for AI.

Responsibilities

  • Own the technical win in every GAIA deal, including discovery, solution design, demos, and proof of value.
  • Serve as the AI subject-matter expert, discussing data architecture, RAG, deployment models, and risk with technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Design and deliver enterprise-grade AI/GenAI solutions integrated with Cohesity's data security and management platform.
  • Architect retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) solutions and build reference architectures, solution accelerators, and demos.
  • Lead technical workshops, POCs, and pilots validating AI use cases across regulated industries.
  • Build executive-quality technical narratives, including solution briefs, architecture diagrams, and business cases.
  • Collaborate with the AI partner ecosystem (NVIDIA, hyperscalers, OEMs) on joint solutions and technical co-sell.
  • Provide feedback to Product and Engineering based on field learnings to shape product development and customer adoption.
  • Support disciplined deal hygiene, including technical qualification, POC exit criteria, and forecasting.
  • Travel across North America for customer meetings, workshops, and POCs, with periodic travel to HQ and company events.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in solutions architecture, sales/pre-sales engineering, or technical consulting, with experience supporting enterprise sales.
  • Hands-on experience designing and deploying generative AI systems (LLMs, embeddings, RAG, vector stores, orchestration frameworks).
  • Strong infrastructure background including enterprise storage, backup/recovery platforms, and hybrid-cloud architectures.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes/OpenShift and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) for deploying AI workloads.
  • Proficiency in Python and APIs for automation, integration, and ML workflows.
  • Working knowledge of security, governance, and compliance frameworks related to AI and data protection.
  • Excellent communication skills to simplify complex AI and infrastructure concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Comfort operating in a co-sell/specialist model, partnering effectively with Account Executives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools for productivity, workflow streamlining, and decision-making.
  • Professional English language proficiency.
  • Commitment to relocating to the designated job location if outside the area.
