About the Role

The Stewardship Coordinator will support the fundraising and donor stewardship efforts of the Relationships & Giving (R&G) department. This full-time, non-exempt position reports to the Stewardship Manager and offers flexible hours, typically Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with potential for nights and weekends. The role is based at Community First! Village in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

Manage donor gifts, including annual and personalized gifts for lead and major donors.
Manage the donor build process, including communication with donors, Site Operations, and Volunteer teams, and day-of coordination.
Coordinate large donor visits, including scheduling, logistics, itineraries, and hospitality in collaboration with the Events team.
Prepare and design materials, collateral, and briefings for visits and events.
Provide support to Friends of the Village giving groups, including Community Sustainers, Abundant Community Circle, and Young Professionals.
Track giving group membership, renewals, and engagement in the CRM.
Assist in research and prospect work to support the Major Gifts team, identifying and qualifying prospective donors.
Compile donor and prospect profiles, giving histories, and background briefings to inform cultivation strategy.
Produce impact stories in collaboration with the Communication and Major Gifts teams.
Manage R&G inventory and supplies, including the tabling process and resources.
Provide event support for donor stewardship events.
Attend tabling events to support brand recognition and donor cultivation efforts.
Support the donor phone and email line, including managing in-kind donation intake.
Other duties and responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

Undergraduate degree preferred; experience may substitute.
Ability to be flexible in a dynamic working environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, including experience producing proposals, briefings, or reports.
Tech savvy and skilled in Microsoft 365 suite.
Comfortable communicating in person, via telephone, and email.
Ability to work joyfully and connect with diverse populations and organizations.
Demonstrates integrity and strives for excellence.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to travel in the local Austin region.
