About the Role
Austin Veterinary Diagnostic Hospital is seeking a passionate Veterinary Technician to join their growing team. This role involves assisting veterinarians with a variety of procedures, performing diagnostic tests, and providing high-quality patient care in a state-of-the-art facility.
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with exams, surgery, and anesthesia monitoring
- Perform diagnostic procedures including lab work and advanced imaging
- Provide high-quality nursing care and patient monitoring
- Administer medications and ensure accurate treatment protocols
- Support client communication and education
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient treatment environment
Requirements
- 2+ years of veterinary technician experience (preferred)
- Surgery and anesthesia monitoring experience (preferred)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
- Team-oriented attitude with a positive mindset
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
