Responsibilities
- Transform complex data sets into meaningful conclusions and recommendations.
- Complete high-quality coding and leverage commonly used packages & libraries to perform assigned technical tasks.
- Gain experience working with various types of data, including geomatics, telematics, textual data, and image data.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in a field related to data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or any other related field.
- Available to work full-time, 35 hours per week, for the Winter 2027 Term in hybrid mode (January to April).
- Must be an active student during your internship and/or returning to school in next Summer or Fall 2027 following your internship.
- No Canadian work experience required, but must be eligible to work in Canada.
- Previous internship or work experience in data science, machine learning, or deep learning is an asset; experience in a financial services company is also an asset.
- Strong curiosity, analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills, with a passion for technology.
- Excellent communication skills, adaptability, and commitment to continuous learning.
- Self-reliant, with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Must include resume and University/College transcript with application.
- Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada from the anticipated start date and throughout their employment and are solely responsible for maintaining their work eligibility.
