About the Role
As a Project Manager, you will lead and execute complex mechanical construction projects ranging from $5M to $30M. You will manage project development, ensure safety, and deliver projects on time and within budget while leading a team of experienced professionals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans, set milestones, and allocate resources.
- Work directly with craft supervision throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
- Execute company safety standards, incentives, and compliance programs.
- Manage strategic contract terms and craft labor agreements.
- Prepare, manage, and forecast project costs, budget, and profitability.
- Monitor and analyze expenses including labor, material, and equipment.
- Prepare project status reports for leadership and clients.
- Provide project phase updates to stakeholders, including due dates, impacts, and adjustments.
- Liaison and collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Participate in activities that promote strong client relationship building.
- Work with Marketing and Sales to pursue new client opportunities, develop proposals, and win new work.
- Lead project teams, motivate members, and foster a positive work environment.
- Mentor younger employees and prepare them for career advancement.
- Resolve conflicts and facilitate effective communication.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience managing industrial construction project teams.
- Demonstrated proficiency in leading and managing cross-functional team members responsible for project controls, estimation, purchasing, safety, quality, and virtual design.
