About the Role
VP, Execution Management -- Liquidity role focused on managing the liquidity of RBC’s Equity Electronic Trading stack, optimizing liquidity access, and evaluating liquidity sources.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate changes with tech & quant teams to optimize liquidity access across RBC SOR and Algorithms.
- Prioritize SOR book of work and manage resources based on business opportunities and obligations.
- Evaluate and analyze internal & external liquidity sources.
- Liaise with external exchanges, execution networks, and liquidity providers on changes and improvements.
- Publicize and communicate liquidity changes/priorities across internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 3-5 years of experience in the US equities market.
- Series 7 and 63 licenses.
- Experience with data structures & query languages like KDB and SQL.
- Experience with order routing technologies or algorithms.
- High-level experience with programming languages and technology; ability to understand technology functionality and debug order logs.
- Powerpoint/Excel fluency.
- AI fluency – able to harness/integrate RBC models into daily tasks/analysis.
- Ability to communicate and present insights from complex data.
- Ability to collaborate and manage priorities across teams and stakeholders.
