About the Role

The Child Development Center is seeking a caring and energetic Early Childhood Teacher to join our team in a supportive, play-based environment. This role focuses on helping young children learn and grow, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to implement an engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with NAEYC and Texas Rising Star standards.
Work with the Lead Teacher on assessments, classroom materials, and individual child skill development.
Support children's learning by implementing lesson plans.
Communicate effectively with families, both verbally and in writing.
Establish and maintain strong communication with parents/guardians.
Build positive relationships with families and co-teachers.
Serve as a positive role model for all children.
Encourage language development through age-appropriate activities.
Actively engage with students and participate in classroom activities.
Maintain an organized and clean classroom environment conducive to play-based learning.
Participate in professional development and training opportunities.

Requirements

At least one (1) year of classroom experience in early childhood.
Passion for creating a nurturing, safe, and supportive learning environment.
