About the Role
This position focuses on warehouse operations, including order pulling, material receiving, and warehouse maintenance. The role also serves as a backup driver for CDL B truck and Moffett deliveries to job sites, ensuring a best-in-class experience for customers.
Responsibilities
- Lives the mission statement
- Acts as a front-line Lansing representative while providing outstanding customer service
- Works in the warehouse while being available to drive the CDL or NCDL trucks as needed
- Uses a moffett forklift to make deliveries
- Interacts with customers and or crews at job sites
- Provides exceptional service to each Lansing customer and constantly strives to improve that level of service
- Keeps warehouse clean and orderly
- May be asked to perform other functions such as cycle counts, inventory, inside sales, etc.
Requirements
- CDL B (or A) license is required
- Must have a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently with efficiency and focus
- Ability to work as a contributing member of a larger team
- Ability and willingness to lift boxes weighing as much as 70 pounds
- At least one year of driving experience
Skills
- Moffett forklift experience
- Customer service skills

- Experience with a piggyback truck
- Experience with building products is very helpful
