About the Role
Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician within ProHealth Medical Group. Supports an optimal healing community in partnership with patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Support ProHealth Care's Mission, Vision, and Values and adhere to customer service goals.
- Prepare exam rooms with proper equipment and supplies.
- Follow standard rooming workflows to prepare patients for provider exams.
- Obtain vital signs, verify health history, and ensure accurate EMR documentation.
- Clean exam rooms and maintain supply stock after each patient visit.
- Answer patient calls, obtain medical information, and report test results.
- Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by providers.
- Prepare sterile fields and assist with procedures under provider direction.
- Perform therapeutic treatments, health screenings, and specimen collection.
- Conduct Point of Care testing.
- Assist with splints or wound care under supervision.
- Respond to urgent situations and call for clinical assistance.
- Assist in maintaining clinic medications, vaccinations, supplies, and equipment.
- Float to other departments or clinic locations as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Completion of Medical Assistant, EMT, LPN, or other equivalent clinical training program
- New graduates will be considered
- This is not a seasonal position.
