About the Role
MongoDB is seeking a technical, people-first, and execution-obsessed leader to manage the Recruiting Operations team. This role is the operational backbone of Talent Acquisition, responsible for establishing and maintaining the infrastructure for scalable, high-velocity hiring. The Senior Manager of Recruiting Operations will drive vision, strategy, and execution across process optimization, RecTech modernization, and talent intelligence. This role requires strong technical aptitude, deep data experience, and a proven track record of workflow redesign to empower TA and achieve optimal hiring outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead the RecOps Team, driving vision and strategy aligned with TA and business goals.
- Own the TA Tooling Roadmap & RecTech Modernization, managing the technology stack and vendor relationships.
- Champion Predictive Talent Intelligence, advancing recruiting analytics and defining key metrics.
- Optimize Processes & Workflows by redesigning core recruiting processes for operational rigor.
- Drive Governance & Compliance for TA Policy, ensuring adherence to laws and regulations.
- Act as a subject matter expert and strategic thought partner for operational projects.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the team, fostering professional development.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience leading and executing complex recruiting operations initiatives.
- 3+ years of people management with excellent coaching and development skills.
- Deep expertise with core recruiting technologies (e.g., Greenhouse, Gem, Metaview).
- Demonstrated track record of managing a TA tooling roadmap, evaluating ROI, and experimenting with automations and AI.
- Proven operational rigor and strategic planning aptitude in redesigning complex processes.
- Highly experienced in collaborating with People Team partners for seamless alignment.
- Proficient in Google Sheets and comfortable using formulas for data manipulation and reporting.
- Independent, results-driven leader who operates autonomously.
- Familiarity with TA Policy, Governance, and Compliance, including global laws and regulations.
- Track record of successfully partnering and influencing cross-functional partners and stakeholders.
