About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated RN nursing supervisor to join our growing team in Williamsville, NY. Canterbury Woods is a continuing care retirement community dedicated to providing older adults with the best possible living experience, offering a lifestyle that meets their needs and interests from independent living to a full continuum of care.
Responsibilities
- Assume the authority, responsibility, and accountability of directing nursing services.
- Visit residents on a daily basis to observe and evaluate their physical and emotional status.
- Oversee all admission, transfer, and discharge of residents as necessary.
- Monitor medication passes and treatment schedules.
- Review MAR and nurses' notes for completeness of information.
- Provide direct nursing care as necessary.
Requirements
- Must have credentials as an RN with a current New York State license.
- Must have, at a minimum, one (1) year of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long-term care facility, or another related health care facility.
- Must be CPR and first aid certified.
- Must have verbal and written English skills.
