About the Role
Our client, a well-established and growing national security technology integrator, is seeking an experienced National Project Manager to lead the successful execution of complex technology integration projects across a growing national footprint. This role involves managing projects from planning and resource coordination through final testing, customer sign-off, and successful turnover, working closely with various stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
Responsibilities
- Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated projects to ensure goals are accomplished within prescribed time frames and funding parameters.
- Directly manages project and technical support personnel.
- Reviews project plans, time frames, and procedures, and schedules coordination meetings.
- Determines technical staffing requirements and manages resources needed for project completion.
- Manages customer expectations regarding project timelines and budgets, forecasting and scheduling subcontractors and technicians.
- Prepares and maintains all necessary project paperwork, including monthly forecasts, billings reports, and Project Management Reviews.
- Follows implementation procedures on a timely basis.
- Works collaboratively with co-workers in all departments and displays a positive attitude.
- Is responsible for the performance, demeanor, performance reviews, and conduct of technical staff on assigned projects.
- Supports staff and ensures staff accountability to both customer and company.
- Initiates and adapts well to change.
- Meets project objectives in a proficient and professional manner.
- Responsible for final system testing, job sign-off, and turnover of a quality product to the customer and SAGE Service Department.
- Maintains confidentiality.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings (drug, background, and driving history).
- Valid driver's license.
- Extended hours, overnight stays, and travel as needed.
- Regularly required to talk or hear.
- Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, bend, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
