About the Role
We are looking for someone to build our marketing from the ground up, taking ownership of growth initiatives, and driving strategy from conception to execution. This role involves managing content, newsletters, and performance marketing, with opportunities to be on camera and lead a future team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the growth strategy, defining target groups, channels, budgets, and KPIs.
- Conceptualize and produce various content formats including YouTube videos, podcasts, and social media posts, including editing and post-production.
- Develop and optimize email marketing strategies, focusing on segmentation, automation, content, and lead nurturing.
- Manage and test paid advertising campaigns across Meta, Google, LinkedIn, and YouTube, focusing on remarketing and optimizing for lead quality and acquisition costs.
- Evolve the brand's visual and verbal identity across all touchpoints.
- Connect marketing efforts with sales, working closely with CRM (HubSpot) to track investor acquisition.
- Implement an AI-first approach to marketing, leveraging AI tools for efficiency in content creation, editing, campaign analysis, and process automation.
- Build and lead a team, including interns, working students, and freelancers, as the company grows.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of work experience in growth or marketing within a startup or scale-up environment.
- Proven track record of measurably building or scaling channels, campaigns, or processes.
- Hands-on experience in at least two of the following areas: content marketing, newsletter marketing, and performance marketing.
- Ability to quickly gain deep knowledge of renewable energy, photovoltaics, battery storage, and investment tax structures.
- Data-driven approach with proficiency in tracking, attribution, A/B testing, and reporting.
- Strong aesthetic sense and storytelling ability, with experience in video editing, and ideally camera, sound, and lighting.
- Willingness to be on camera or ability to learn.
- Understanding of YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram, both short-form and long-form content.
- AI-first mindset, integrating AI tools into workflows for content production, analysis, and automation.
- High degree of autonomy, decision-making ability, and accountability for results.
- Excellent German language skills with a strong sense for language and tone.
- Availability for a full-time position and willingness to work 5 days a week in the Berlin office.
