About the Role
As a Brake & Tire Technician at Carvana, you will perform light maintenance or repairs, including changing brakes and tires, and conduct technician services such as routine inspections and basic mechanical repairs. You will use state-of-the-art tools in high-tech Inspection Centers. Training programs are available for entry-level positions to ensure skill and pay progression.
Responsibilities
- Perform light maintenance or repairs, including changing brakes and tires
- Perform basic mechanical repair for brake pads/calipers/rotors, tire installations, and wheel alignments
- Conduct technician services, such as routine inspections/maintenance
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of professional automotive repair experience
- Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment
- Ability to sometimes be exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold)
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
