About the Role

Collective Residential is a property management platform that protects the brand, team, and local judgment of regional operators by providing capital, technology, shared services, and peer expertise. This role is responsible for building and executing the marketing function for a group of portfolio companies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the marketing calendar for a group of portfolio companies, executing lease-ups, renewals, seasonal campaigns, occupancy recovery, and promotions.
  • Create, produce, and quality review content including social media, property copy, listing content, template-based creative, and review responses.
  • Ensure Fair Housing compliance for all advertising and marketing language.
  • Oversee listing, website, and ILS accuracy through recurring audit cycles and closing findings.
  • Lead website development, including design direction, page structure, content standards, and update cycles, working with and directing web vendors.
  • Build and update websites directly using various platforms.
  • Enhance onsite team capability through templates, playbooks, request intake, and training.
  • Deploy to properties for major projects and portfolio evaluations.
  • Assess and integrate new operating companies by evaluating their existing marketing assets and needs.

Requirements

  • Five or more years in marketing with demonstrated ownership of results.
  • Multifamily experience, including understanding of lease-up dynamics, traffic and conversion, ILS economics, and leasing office operations.
  • Ability to manage oneself, set priorities across multiple companies, work remotely, and be measured on outcomes.
  • Digital marketing fluency, including paid search and social, SEO, reputation management, lead attribution, and tying spend to leases.
  • Experience with ILS and syndication, including feed management, listing optimization, and platform cost evaluation.
  • Proven experience in website development and ongoing management as a marketer, including design direction, information architecture, content standards, vendor management, and hands-on page building/editing across multiple platforms.
  • Hands-on content creation skills, including writing property copy, managing photo sets, and proficiency in Canva or Creative Cloud.
  • Proptech judgment, with experience in property management systems and the surrounding marketing stack (CRM, leasing AI, reputation tools, call tracking, analytics) and the ability to assess tools.
  • Experience working with creatives and communications professionals, including briefing designers and scoping agencies.
  • A strong point of view and the ability to advocate for shared standards and technology stack components based on experience.
