About the Role

As an Elite Armed Security Officer Full Time Mobile Patrol Driver in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. This driving position offers the opportunity to support a welcoming environment while communicating professionally with shoppers and team members.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Maintain accurate reports and documentation related to incidents, patrols, observations, and daily activities.

Requirements

Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security experience.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
