About the Role

Responsibilities
- Adhere to YMCA of Southwestern Ontario policy and procedures.
- Act as a YMCA ambassador, demonstrating YMCA core values in daily work.
- Clean and maintain all areas of the facility, including classrooms, kitchen, staff room, office, hallways, and bathrooms.
- Regularly remove garbage and recycling.
- Work with the team in a positive and enthusiastic manner to ensure member safety and satisfaction.
- Commitment to serving all members.
- Demonstrate a commitment to YMCA Mission, Vision, and Values.
- Ensure the center is locked and the alarm is activated upon leaving.
Requirements
- Experience in a commercial cleaning environment.
- WHMIS trained (training can be provided).
- Experience with the safe and proper use and storage of cleaning supplies.
- Clean criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening.
- Must be 18 years old.
- Provide a current satisfactory Criminal Record and may require a Vulnerable Sector Search.
- Police Record checks are reviewed on an individual basis.
