About the Role
Milacron is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair plastic injection/extrusion equipment, troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair plastic injection/extrusion equipment
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance activities on equipment
- Effectively interface with customers in repairing equipment as needed
- Evaluate and make recommendations regarding required repairs
- Install computer software programs to manufactured machines
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience working with hydraulics, mechanics, and/or similar skillsets
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Willingness to travel and work overtime as necessary
- 2+ years of experience working with plastic injection/extrusion equipment or similar types of equipment or machine tool
- Ability to read mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics
