Responsibilities
- Manage a patient panel with diverse needs, conducting acute, chronic, and well visits.
- Provide patient care in-office, testing centers, and through occasional telehealth visits.
- Engage in continuous learning through weekly Clinical Rounds and other modalities.
- Collaborate with in-office teammates via daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams.
- Utilize specific clinical training and perform in-office procedures.
- Obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states.
Requirements
- Completed an accredited NP or PA program with national certification.
- State licensed in California by your One Medical start date.
- At least 2 years of practice as an Advanced Practitioner in an outpatient primary care setting within the past 5 years.
- Alternatively, 1 year of practice in an outpatient primary care setting combined with a 1-year primary care fellowship or 1+ year in an urgent care setting within the past 5 years.
- Experience in LARC (IUD + Nexplanon) insertion and colposcopy procedures is a plus.
- Passion for human-centered primary care.
- Ability to communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds.
- Ability to effectively use technology to deliver high-quality care.
- Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care.
- Desire to be an integral part of a team dedicated to changing healthcare delivery.
- Openness to feedback and reflection for productive insight.
- Ability to confidently navigate uncertain situations with patients and colleagues.
- Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet patient needs.
