About the Role
We are looking for Machine Operators/Packer-General Helpers at our Paper Bag facility to set up and operate machinery, ensure product quality, and maintain a safe work environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate machine as per orders
- Follow instructions from the operator and be a team player
- Keep ample supply of bottom sheets available
- Verify print specifications with production copy
- Stack and pile units as per requirements
- Visually inspect for any non-conformances
- Take off the machine at or above the standards set by the Company
- Accurately complete time sheets
- Report all problems to your supervisor when they occur
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with health and safety and housekeeping practices, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Abide by all rules and regulations of the Company
Requirements
- Previous manufacturing experience is an asset
- Must be available to work shifts
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts
- Candidates who are 18 years or older are required to complete a criminal and background check

- $22.06/hr starting wage
- $23.28/hr after 6 months
