About the Role

AECOM Tishman is seeking a professional to manage mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) construction projects. This role involves defining project scope, coordinating design reviews, ensuring code compliance, and managing MEP trades.

Responsibilities

Define project scope, deliverables, and execution strategy for mechanical, electrical, plumbing in alignment with overall project goals.
Schedule and run design reviews.
Manage interdisciplinary coordination (architectural, structural, civil).
Close design issues and RFIs.
Participate with BIM coordination and clash detection for MEP systems.
Ensure models and shop drawings reflect current design and field conditions.
Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and client specifications.
Write scopes of work, descoping, and leveling bids for MEP trades.
Run trade coordination meetings.
Manage MEP trades in the field.

Requirements

BS Construction Management, Engineering or related curriculum and 6 years of MEP construction management experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and education.
6 years of construction, specifically in the field of MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing/piping).
Experience from a large General Contractor.
Experience in high-rise construction.
Experience with construction documentation such as change order processing, RFPs, RFIs, etc.
Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
All newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment.

Skills

Knowledge of construction project management, including software (CMIC).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
