About the Role
Executes special events initiatives, supports sales representatives in achieving sales objectives, and follows manager directives. This role is crucial for managing special events, sponsorship, and on-premises draught sales.
Responsibilities
- Ensures the execution of special events department needs for event planning, sponsorship, and on-premises draught sales.
- Works with and leads seasonal staff to meet the needs of summer special events.
- Assists in training for all special event personnel.
- Schedules all summer seasonal help to support fulltime staff.
- Oversees delivery, setup, maintenance, customer satisfaction, and pick-up of all picnic equipment.
- Meets with customers on special event planning to coordinate draft supplies, permits, licenses, staffing, and promotional materials.
- Follows up with customer feedback or complaints after a special event.
- Serves as the point of contact for all special events planning and is on-call for the duration of the event.
- Works with manager and suppliers to ensure proper levels of draught inventory.
- Identifies product defects and out-of-code product and implements preventative measures.
- Is available and willing to work with seasonal demands, including hours and volume of business.
Requirements
- Two years related sales/customer service experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of draft systems operation, draft beer varieties, NYS liquor authority regulations, and sales techniques.
- Knowledge of all aspects of draught sales and quality.
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Must occasionally lift 50 lbs. and/or move up to 250 pounds.
- Regularly required to talk or hear.
- Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance and color vision.
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts (discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages)
- Computer literacy including proficiency in MS Office software

Salary/Compensations
- $60,000.00 - $70,000.00
