About the Role
This role is for a Product Designer at the intersection of UX and design engineering. You will design tools for dispatchers, ops managers, and drivers, focusing on dense, real-time, operational interfaces and defining the feel of an agentic-AI-native logistics product. The role involves approximately 70% web application design and 30% mobile design, with an emphasis on speed, rapid iteration, and close collaboration with engineering and sales teams. The process focuses on validating working software early and offers high ownership within a small design team.
Responsibilities
- Discover and validate customer needs through interviews, feedback analysis, and synthesis into design decisions.
- Design dense, operational web UI, including dispatch workspaces, routing, agents, order management, and real-time views.
- Create concepts and prototypes rapidly using Figma or code, incorporating AI tools into the workflow.
- Prepare and run client-facing demos, presenting and defending design decisions to stakeholders.
- Contribute to and evolve the design system, including components, tokens, and variables.
- Drive the agentic AI approach in the product experience, ensuring AI-first workflows feel native for logistics operators.
- Work day-to-day within engineering teams to refine scope, resolve feasibility trade-offs, and maintain quality during implementation.
Requirements
- 7+ years of product/UX design experience with shipped work in complex products.
- Proven B2B product experience, including complex workflows, professional users, and data-dense interfaces.
- Strong discovery skills to quickly identify customer problems and shape decisions with research.
- Component-based thinking, understanding atomic design and modern web patterns for frontend implementation.
- Technical fluency, comfort working with engineers, understanding constraints, and reading design token files.
- Active, daily use of LLMs and AI prototyping tools in the design workflow.
- Bias for fast iteration, preferring multiple rough rounds over a single polished release.
- Clear communication in English, comfortable presenting to clients, and adaptable to evidence.
