About the Role
Be a Freedom Mobile Brand Ambassador, provide outstanding customer service, ensure an engaging and exciting workplace, and drive continuous sales results. Supervise retail operations in assistance with the Store Manager.
Responsibilities
- Open and close the store per Operating Policies, maintaining keys to the Store, and ensuring Store and Company assets are properly safeguarded and secured.
- Communicate sales performance results with the Team and provide clear action plans to drive sales.
- Assist in providing on-the-job training for new hires and the continued training and development of team members.
- Meet personal targets while driving peers to achieve store goals through effective mentoring and training.
- Execute store operations during scheduled shifts, including Inventory Management, Banking, and Merchandising.
- Sell merchandise and process payments, ensuring accurate cash management practices.
- Regularly update team members on sales progress and initiatives.
- Lead by example in ensuring all standard operating policies, processes, and procedures are adhered to in the absence of the Store Manager.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-2 years of progressive Retail Sales experience.
- Previous experience in the wireless industry is an asset.
- A positive demeanor and a commitment to improvement that leads to outstanding customer experiences.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and statutory holidays.
