About the Role

As a co-op student, you will work on meaningful projects that support our operations and give you hands-on experience in a dynamic, safety-focused environment. Join S&C to make an impact on tomorrow’s energy challenges!

Responsibilities

• Conduct time studies.
• Analyze current processes and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Understand and help with the standard work method development.
• Support in the 5S blitzes and prepare documents.
• Support in the Kaizen activities and standard work.
• Contribute to the culture of Continuous Improvement.
• Support identifying wastes and implementing process improvements.
• Implement improvement actions by supporting the change in the teams.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Pursuing a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering Diploma/Degree or related field in a post-secondary institution.
• Registered in a co-op program, and eligible to work the Winter 2027 co-op term.
• Strong mechanical/mathematical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Programming and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• Good communication skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Able to work in a fast-paced work environment with minimal supervision.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
