About the Role
Kamco Supply is seeking an experienced Commercial Door Project Manager to manage projects from takeoff to completion, ensuring a full understanding of Division 8 (doors and hardware).
Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers via phone and email.
- Manage projects from takeoff to completion.
- Complete takeoffs and interpret construction plans.
- Generate quotes, bids, and sales orders.
- Liaise with vendors for material pricing.
- Create purchase orders and procure materials.
- Handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Demonstrate sales motivation and initiative.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in the Division 8 sector, specializing in Doors, Frames, and Hardware.
- Proficiency in estimating.
- Ability to identify and communicate specification errors to customers.
- Familiarity with various industry manufacturers and vendors (e.g., Assa Abloy, Allegion, Hager, Pemko, Masonite, DeLaFontaine).
- Knowledge of industry software such as ProCore, Building Connect, and Software for Hardware.
