About the Role
At Metaview, full stack means an engineer can own a customer problem across the entire stack, from interface to API, data model, permissions, agent behavior, failure recovery, and production experience. We are building AI coworkers for recruiting teams, focusing on software that can pursue hiring objectives and earn customer trust.
Responsibilities
- Build the interface, APIs, data model, permissions, and production behavior of customer workflows.
- Develop agents that can pursue recruiting objectives, ask for judgment, and recover from failures.
- Translate interview and hiring-team conversations into actionable items with understandable interfaces.
- Design controls and recovery paths for agents operating in customer systems.
- Transform repeated product patterns into simple primitives for various recruiting workflows.
- Independently own and ship a bounded customer outcome from problem definition through rollout and iteration within the first 3 to 6 months.
- Make product and technical decisions, contribute code, and own the production result.
- Write code while setting direction for a broader area, making architectural tradeoffs, and improving decision quality (at staff+ level).
Requirements
- Shipped software for external users and owned a meaningful outcome from problem definition through production.
- Possess depth in at least one technical area and can cross product, frontend, and backend boundaries.
- Heavily utilize AI coding agents while still being able to design, implement, review, and debug independently.
- Desire direct customer contact, hands-on implementation, and post-launch responsibility.
- Enjoy following product behavior through interface, API, data, permissions, and production recovery.
- Address difficult technical layers directly rather than routing problems to other teams.
- Demonstrated scope determines level, not years of experience.
- This is a hands-on product individual contributor role, not a people-management or model-research role.
