About the Role
This is a Senior Leadership Team role where you will own the product direction, strategy, and execution for Intelic's intelligence layer for unmanned systems in defense. You will report directly to the CPO and share responsibility for running the company, leading a team of PMs, designers, and a Delivery Manager. The role offers the opportunity to shape the company's future and directly impact European security.
Responsibilities
- Define and communicate a clear product vision rooted in deep domain understanding.
- Build and own product strategy, including defining what not to pursue.
- Set the roadmap and prioritization framework across all product teams.
- Lead product discovery and validate problems before committing to solutions.
- Drive go-to-market thinking as an integral part of the product process.
- Collaborate with team leads to align engineering capacity with product priorities.
- Hire, develop, and maintain a high standard for PMs, designers, and delivery managers.
- Implement lightweight processes to accelerate team velocity.
Requirements
- Genuine interest in the drone or defense domain.
- Proven experience taking a full product from zero to one, including go-to-market and shipping.
- Natural aptitude for go-to-market strategy, including distribution, customer validation, and adoption.
- Hands-on approach, willing to engage with details, understand UX firsthand, and discuss architecture with engineering.
- Experience building outcome-oriented teams with clear goals and adaptable management styles.
- Experience in a startup or fast-moving scale-up with broad, cross-functional scope.
- Track record of successful hiring, providing constructive feedback, and developing team members.
- Willingness to travel for defense exercises and missions globally.
