About the Role

The Sales Intern will work with large account teams, focusing on providing key sales, category analysis, and business presentation tools. This role leverages customer and market information to identify opportunities that help the account team achieve its annual business plan objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop account-specific category business presentations aligned with the Account Team's needs.
  • Support the execution of the 52-week sales plan (product, price, place, promotions) to meet targets.
  • Communicate and coordinate with field and/or regional teams regarding priorities, reporting, customer plans, and ad hoc items.
  • Provide support in monthly meetings and lead sales calendars between field and account teams to address priorities and results.
  • Download and maintain deal sheets and contract billing, cross-referencing with TPM deductions and balances to support SPAs.
  • Partner with sales forecast and pricing analysts to ensure accurate tracking and monitoring of monthly results, ensuring effective communication and adherence to the annual plan and optimal product distribution.
  • Maintain customer calendars, forecasts, deals, and portal inputs, ensuring business-critical information is documented, accurate, and accessible via SharePoint.
  • Perform administrative and reconciliation duties (e.g., customer scorecards, presentations, discount programs, pricing, debits, rebates, deductions) to ensure timely and accurate customer accounts.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and internal administrative requirements such as new item forms and item/customer maintenance as requested by managers.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing post-secondary education in Business with a specialization in Sales or a related field.
  • Proven analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong orientation towards accuracy, quality, and attention to detail.
  • Effective oral and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Proficient with standard office computer technology, including SAP and Microsoft Office products (intermediate Excel skills).
