About the Role

THE·TEAM is seeking an individual to join the Strategy & Consulting department of the Brands & Properties group. This role will oversee music partnerships, colleagues, and processes to ensure client satisfaction and represent client needs within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the expert in the music vertical, monitoring the market and providing competitive intelligence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with music industry stakeholders.
  • Develop client-focused narratives and recommendations through research and data analysis.
  • Lead team members in client service, relationship development, and project coordination.
  • Partner with internal research and insights teams to establish and determine program success metrics and effectiveness.
  • Oversee deal structures and negotiation strategy in partnership with the Associate Vice President.
  • Facilitate negotiations between partners and clients and manage post-sponsorship relationships.
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day client contact, anticipating needs and managing action items.
  • Intercede and create solutions for issues arising between partners and programs.
  • Understand client business sectors and industry contexts to build strategic plans.
  • Maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with client plans.
  • Build client relationships to encourage new and repeat business.
  • Identify future strategic opportunities and deliver top results to clients.
  • Ensure all parties receive appropriate attention and support.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
  • 9+ years of relevant experience.
  • 6+ years of direct experience in account and project management.
  • Experience working in the music industry in a sponsorship and/or activation capacity.
  • High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel for deck development and budget management.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Superior interpersonal skills to create rapport with diverse individuals.
  • Proven account management skills.
  • Strong leadership capabilities.
  • Motivated, goal-oriented, persistent, and a skilled negotiator.
  • High level of initiative; works well independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
