About the Role
The YMCA of Southwestern Ontario is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Group Fitness Instructors at the Centre Branch in London. This role is ideal for individuals interested in becoming a fitness instructor for the first time, offering free MOSSA instructor training and mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, engaging group fitness classes following MOSSA training
- Create a welcoming and motivating environment for members
- Demonstrate exercises safely and effectively
- Represent the YMCA as a positive ambassador and role model
Requirements
- Current and acceptable Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Ability to be a positive role model
- Teamwork and professionalism
- Comfort working in a social and community-focused environment
- Strong communication skills with employees and members
Skills
- Passion for fitness, movement, and healthy living
- Positive, encouraging, and team-focused attitude
