About the Role
Seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst on a contract basis to support a major public sector digital transformation programme. You will define and deliver digital services that meet user needs and align with the GOV.UK Service Standard, operating across all delivery phases.
Responsibilities
- Define and deliver digital services that meet user needs and align to the GOV.UK Service Standard.
- Translate user, business, and policy requirements into actionable outcomes.
- Support the successful delivery of citizen-facing and internal government services.
- Elicit, analyse, and document requirements within complex and ambiguous environments.
- Identify user, business, and operational needs and translate these into clear requirements and recommendations.
- Develop user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Develop process maps and service blueprints.
- Develop business rules and data requirements.
- Develop as-is and to-be operating models.
- Develop functional and non-functional requirements.
- Facilitate workshops and drive consensus across diverse stakeholder groups.
Requirements
- Extensive experience working as a Business Analyst on UK Government or wider public sector digital transformation programmes.
- Strong understanding of the GOV.UK Service Standard, GDS Delivery Framework, and service assessment process.
- Proven experience working across Discovery, Alpha, Beta and Live delivery phases.
- Experience navigating complex stakeholder landscapes including policy, operational, technical and executive stakeholders.
- Skilled at eliciting, analysing and documenting requirements within complex and ambiguous environments.
- Able to identify user, business and operational needs and translate these into clear requirements and recommendations.
- Comfortable facilitating workshops and driving consensus across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Immediately available or have a 1 week notice period.
