About the Role
As a Product Designer at Zip, you will work on customer-facing features for procurement, collaborating with experienced designers, PMs, and engineers to build consumer-grade experiences for enterprise workflows. You will have direct access to users for research and testing, and your designs will be immediately implemented. This role focuses on the AI platform team, developing core patterns and capabilities for AI agent experiences across the platform. We seek designers eager to take ownership and grow by solving high-impact problems for leading companies.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of AI platform features from concept to launch.
- Drive a compelling vision on how AI permeates throughout our app and is integrated thoughtfully where it matters most.
- Partner closely with engineers, and with PM and go-to-market stakeholders to brainstorm, define, and implement new features and offerings.
- Collaborate closely with our product and customer-facing teams to participate in UX Research and design thoughtful solutions.
- Iterate quickly on designs based on user feedback.
- Lead regular design reviews with the broader AI team.
- Work closely with product designers across the organization to understand their specific team’s needs.
Requirements
- 8+ years professional design experience working at a startup or similarly resource-restricted organization shipping great designs at a fast pace.
- Experience shipping AI products end to end as the lead designer.
- Experience iterating with engineers and other team members on both visual and UX designs to get the experience and details just right.
- Great presentation, collaboration and communication skills.
- Empathetic champion for your work’s audience and customers.
- Strong visual design skills without sacrificing usability.
- Understanding of the technical constraints of building web applications.
- Build with AI tools in your own workflow, prototyping with Claude, Figma Make, Cursor, or whatever gets your ideas into something clickable fastest.
